About/bio
At the ATL I am responsible for long-term access and remedial treatments for the Library’s negatives, prints and transparencies. This includes large-scale projects that integrate photograph rehousing, description and digitisation.
I trained as a medical photographer at the Clinical School of Medicine, Christchurch, before working as a photographer, then a photographs collections manager for the National Museum of NZ. I studied photographic materials at RIT in Rochester, NY before interning at the Archives and Library of Canada in the early 1990s.
