About/bio
Annette is an Objects Conservator with experience in a multitude of materials. She completed a 6 month pre-training internship working with paper and wet organic material prior to qualifying in Objects conservation in 1994. Annette worked at Auckland Museum for 9 years working with Human and Natural History collections and historical and contemporary world cultural Taonga; she spent the following 7 years in private practice, and is currently the Objects Conservator at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki, responsible for all historic and contemporary sculpture and installation artwork. Annette has a particular interest in modern polymers.
