About/bio
My family and I are based in Masterton, where I run Triptych from my home studio. I have a strong passion for conservation, particularly paper and photographs. I feel that the effect of seeing and feeling an original document is one not able to be replicated digitally, and I want to be part of keeping that alive.
Qualifications and/or experience
I am the director of Triptych Conservation Limited, and also the heritage advisor at Wairarapa Archive, where I have been since 2010. Prior to this, I spent around 18 months at Archives New Zealand.
Relevant training
Master's in Preventive Conservation from Northumbria University (due to complete in mid-2027)
BA in History from Massey University
Managing Local Government Archives course through ALGIM
Risk Management Training: Disaster Preparedness and Response for Libraries, Archives and Records through Triptych
Risk Management Training: Care and Handling for Libraries, Archives, and Records
